The former Lord Nelson Orange Lodge # 149 was built in 1908 and served as the center for  most community events until the doors were closed in the late 1970's.

SINCE BEING RESTORED TO IT'S FORMER GLORY IN 1999, The Woody Point Heritage Theatre hosts some of Newfoundland and Labradors most well known musical artists as well as performers from Ireland and the United States.

It is also home to the annual Writers at Woody Point Festival and Gros Morne Summer Music.

At the Hunky Dory , we pride ourselves by specializing in 100% Newfoundland and Labrador made crafts, folkart and one of a kind items.

You will find a wide variety of things made locally from collected driftwood, lobster buoys , natural fibers and fish bones, as well as other items made by various artists from across the province.

Woody Point Arts is located in Woody Point on the South Side of Gros Morne National Park.
